As part of the cemetery's overall master plan, a priority was set on creating a grand entry for the cemetery that is befitting with the property's name, history and bucolic location.

The gates were conceived as a modern interpretation of the property's existing California Spanish style architecture.  The gates are set back from the main street to provide privacy and maintain the serenity of the existing neighborhood.
