Within the context of a larger garden cemetery, family estates have been designed to provide private sections set in a open arrangement.

The estates are defined by Mission-styled pillars topped by small pergolas caps, accentuated by vines and flanked with granite-faced memorial benches and "thresholds" to frame the sections.  The lack of raised curbs or fencing preserves the open setting.
